The Directional Driller must have the understanding of directional boring principles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• 2 years previous experience working as a directional drilling employee.
• 2 years’ experience using Tracker/Locator
• 2 years’ experience operating a direction drill.
• Inspect work sites and ensure daily activities are performed as instructed by immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with underground utilities.
  CDL is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
• Must be accustomed to working outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to travel in the New England Area is required, if necessary
• Must have valid CDL license.
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.

Drilling Assistant duties:

• Manage and fuse pipe.
• Change drill bits and tools.
• Assist in the routine maintenance and lubrication of rig equipment and trucks.

• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

• Be responsive to instructions.

• Work as a team.
• Have a clean driving record. CDL is a plus.
• Be able to pass regular drug and alcohol testing.
