Professor Atalah taught and mentored hundreds of construction management students at Bowling Green State University since 2000. He earned his Doctor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration, and MS in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, LA. Prior to his academic career, he has been involved in the construction of water and wastewater projects since 1984 in challenging conditions such as nearby high-rise buildings, critical businesses, high ground water table, very soft and stratified soils, unknown utilities, and congested streets. Dr. Atalah was a board member of the North American Society for Trenchless Technology for six years. Alan teaches our Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Course and our Pipe Bursting Course.
