David “Webb” Winston, PE is a Principal Engineer for Williams Companies, an energy company that handles approximately one third of the natural gas in the United States. Webb specializes in trenchless engineering and construction services for the company and serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Williams’ trenchless pipeline installations enterprise-wide.
He is currently based out of the Houston, TX office and has held several positions at Williams including Construction Management roles and Pipeline Engineering Lead for the Northeast Gathering and Processing Operating Area. Prior to joining Williams, Webb held engineering and project management roles specializing in construction management, design engineering, project management, and geotechnical investigation and analysis for trenchless projects.
He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas, a M.S. in Construction Management from Arizona State University, a graduate certificate in Underground Construction and Tunnel Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Webb teaches NASTT’s Direct Steerable Pipe Thrusting Good Practices Course.
