The Rocky Mountain Chapter of NASTT (RMNASTT) is now accepting abstracts for its 2027 Regional Conference, a premier single-day event focused on trenchless technology, innovation, and collaboration.

Industry professionals, engineers, contractors, consultants, utility owners, suppliers, and researchers are invited to submit presentation proposals highlighting practical experience, emerging technologies, lessons learned, and innovative trenchless solutions. Case studies are encouraged.

Topics of Interest:

  • New Installations of Tunneling, Microtunneling, Pipe Ramming, DTH, Auger & others
  • Pipeline Rehabilitation for Water, Wastewater & Stormwater Systems
  • Advanced Pipeline Condition Assessment & Inspection
  • Pipe Bursting, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) & Lateral Lining
  • Trenchless Research, Emerging Technologies & Industry Issues
  • Energy Pipeline Systems

SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Abstract submissions are due by October 1, 2026. Presentation proposals must include:

1) Author(s) contact information, 2) Title of presentation, 3) Abstract (150 – 250 words) and 4) Topic of Interest. Accepted presenters will be required to submit a brief presenter biography and a final presentation .ppt for conference publication. Presentations will be 25 minutes including time to answer questions from the audience.   

HOW TO SUBMIT: Please e-mail your presentation abstract and supporting materials to Drew Randall (drew.randall@denverwater.org). Final presentations will be due January 10, 2027.

Rocky Mountain NASTT Annual Clay Shoot – Bennett, CO

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of NASTT is teaming up with NUCA of Colorado for this year’s Annual Clay Shoot! This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with trenchless and utility construction professionals from across the region while enjoying a fun, competitive day on the range.

Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or brand new to the sport, this is a great chance to network with industry peers, build stronger relationships, and support both organizations as we continue to strengthen our community of professionals.

Event Schedule

  • 7:30–8:30 AM Arrival & Registration (breakfast provided)

  • 8:30 AM Safety Brief

  • 8:45 AM Shotgun Start

  • 12:00–1:00 PM Lunch, Drinks & Awards
