Matthew Wallin, P.E.

Matthew Wallin is a Partner and Senior Project Manager with Bennett Trenchless Engineers, located in Folsom, California.  BTEs’ engineering practice is focused entirely on trenchless technology design, construction management, and claims assistance.  Matthew holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  Since that time, Matthew has focused his practice on geotechnical engineering and the design and construction management of new pipeline projects using horizontal directional drilling, microtunneling, open-shield pipejacking, pipe ramming, and auger boring.

Matthew has been a member of NASTT since 2002 and has participated in the organization in many capacities.  He has been an active member in the Western Chapter (WESTT) since 2003 and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the NASTT Board of Directors.  He joined the No-Dig Program Committee in 2010 and has acted as a session leader for the annual No Dig Conference since that time.  Matthew is also an instructor for NASTT’s HDD Good Practices Course.
