Recently, the NASTT Student Chapter at Louisiana Tech University set up an Engineering & Science Day at A.E. 
Phillips Elementary School in Ruston, LA. Their goal was to educate young children about everything that an engineer does to keep things working in the world and hopefully inspire some of them to become engineers!
They set up six different stations for the children to rotate to and from. Each station included various experiments such as a surveying station, construction equipment, marshmallow tower challenge, engine demonstration, etc. 34 third graders participated in the day and NASTT Student Members had a great time interacting with them!
Looks like a great time was had by all!
