Primary Pipe

The basic conduit when used in conjunction with a “protective liner”; when inspected and evaluated it is the basic or primary pipe which must meet the fit-for-use criteria. When a sewer section is upgraded with a structural, monolithic liner, the liner becomes the primary pipe; subsequent inspection and evaluation is then performed with respect to that liner.
