Young Trenchless Professionals Networking Night

About: Kick off the NASTT No-Dig Show at this complimentary networking event for Young Professionals. This event is designed for young professionals in their 20s through mid-30s to get to know one another so they can connect with ease throughout the week at the NASTT No-Dig Show.
This event is for professionals under 35 years. The event is free but you must add your ticket to your conference registration.
Opening Breakfast
Date: Monday, April 15, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Entertainment: Join the fun with our Opening Breakfast speaker, Mr. Dana Daniels! Dana keeps the laughs going at a speedy clip using his trusty side kick Luigi the Psychic Parrot. Yes, you read correctly — a psychic parrot! In-between Dana’s outrageously funny sight gags, he sets out to prove that his little green friend is truly clairvoyant. Together, they perform such miracles as finding chosen cards, reading the mind of somebody on a cell phone and turning an audience member’s $100 bill into bird food only to have it reappear inside an egg laid by Luigi (Tough trick for a male bird). Dana takes command with a style and confidence that puts the audience at ease. His clever audience participation and an undeniably magnetic personable connection have given him wide appeal!

Exhibit Hall Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Innovative Product Awards

Meet, Greet, Drink & Eat – Networking Reception and Silent Auction

About: Celebrate the end of the first full day of the conference with a networking cocktail hour and help us raise funds for the NASTT Educational Fund through a silent auction. Come to this fun social event before heading out for your evening with clients and colleagues. All Full Conference registrants will be entered to win (or purchase additional tickets on the auction website) $5,000, donated by Vermeer. You MUST be present to win! Casino Royale

About: Feeling lucky? Come roll the dice at our networking event, Casino Royale! This festive celebratory event kicks off with hors d’ oeuvres and an open bar networking reception. We then move into the awards ceremony where we will honor the NASTT 2024 Hall of Fame class and the Chair Award recipient. We’ll celebrate with a champagne toast and then open up the casino tables for gaming (play money provided)! Throughout the evening enjoy various food stations, cocktails and networking with your trenchless community. At the end of the evening attendees can turn in their winnings for a chance to take home raffle prizes. Come dressed to impress, festive cocktail attire is encouraged. Life is a gamble, but the fun at the No-Dig Show is a sure bet!

Closing Luncheon

About: The Closing Luncheon is the final event during the NASTT No-Dig Show. This great networking luncheon will give everyone an opportunity to say goodbye to the friends they have met and make plans to work with these new contacts throughout the year. At the closing lunch you will hear from our next Program Chair on what is in store for the NASTT 2025 No-Dig Show in Denver, Colorado. This event takes place in the exhibit hall.

Bayside Sewer Project (HDD) Site Visit in Warwick, Rhode Island

Location: Offsite Project Tour
About: Site visit and tour will leave the convention center at 1:30 PM via chartered bus and bring attendees back to the convention center after the tour. Limit 30 attendees
Located only 12 miles from downtown Providence Warwick has been working to clean up the waterways and beach front throughout the town. The reduction of infiltration of private septic systems into the public waterways has been a major focus in the effort to reduce pollution.
The trenchless technology portion of this sewer rehabilitation project involves HDD installation of 6- and 8-inch HDPE pipe along with over 500 house laterals. Significantly, this work is through the region of historic Narragansett Indian settlements, with extensive buried settlement heritage, artifacts and culture.
The tour will focus on the project area that was designated as an area of significant historical and cultural preservation with a large number of documented findings, requiring the involvement of archaeologists and members of the the Narragansett Indian Tribal Historic Preservation Office (NITHPO) working alongside the project crew.
This event is free to attend but is limited to the first 30 people that add the site visit to their registration.
